Dr. Andrew Buser, DC, CSCS
Founder, The Buser Institute
Dr. Buser has worked extensively in the field of physiology and neuroscience since 1991, and specializes in Corrective Exercise Therapy. Dr. Buser graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences. There he graduated valedictorian and was awarded special honors as the most distinguished diagnostician and clinician of his graduating class. Dr. Buser began his career as a Corrective Exercise Therapist at The Egoscue Method Clinic where he assisted in developing their training and education programs for practitioners worldwide. He went on to work as a master trainer for Reebok where he implemented exercise therapies for athletes and elite members of the military. Dr. Buser continues to research new discoveries in physiology and neuroscience, implementing them into his current practice with clients worldwide, both in-person and remotely.

Joey Zimet, M.S., CSCS, CPT
Buser Institute Associate Exercise Trainer
Joey Zimet began his journey into the field of corrective exercise training through a personal experience. He was injured and unable to find a long-term solution. He discovered Dr. Buser who helped him heal through his unique Body-Balance exercise techniques. Due to the success of the modality which addressed the root cause of his pain, he decided to become a practitioner himself.
Joey now makes an impactful and lasting difference in the lives of his clients. His passion for learning and applying information to help people began with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Rutgers University. He went on to receive an M.S. in Education as well as CSCS and CPT certifications. His drive to understand the body and mind on a holistic level led him to Columbia University Teachers College where he received an advanced Masters Degree in Applied Physiology.
Joey has helped many people evolve from a life of chronic pain to one of newfound freedom. His goal is to assist each client to feel healthy and function optimally.

Alisa Studer, CPT
Buser Institute Associate Exercise Trainer
Alisa is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Buser Institute Corrective Exercise Trainer. Alisa became interested in the modality of Corrective Exercise Training after being introduced to it to treat her own chronic pain. Seeing the benefits of coupling this approach with traditional chiropractic care from her local doctor, sparked an interest that led her to expand on her passion of helping people with their health and wellness goals. Inspired by the positive changes that corrective exercise training provided her and her family, Alisa became dedicated to helping others live a life free of chronic pain. Alisa is a native San Diegan and practices in beautiful Leucadia.
